CHECK TO BE PERFORMEDRESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1Disconnect the wiring connector from the front driver''s door lock gear motor    See N050 DRIVER'S FRONT DOOR LOCK GEARED MOTOR With the tester in Ohmmeter mode, connect the probes to the gear motor connector between Pins B and C    See N050 DRIVER'S FRONT DOOR LOCK GEARED MOTOR Check that with the door closed the circuit is open and with the door open it is closedReplace the door switch    Op. 7005N20 FRONT SIDE DOOR LOCK MOTOR/CATCH ASSEMBLY, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R WITH DOOR PANEL AND SUPPORT FRAME REMOVED
2Disconnect the wiring connector from the front passenger door lock gear motor    See N051 RIGHT FRONT DOOR LOCK GEARED MOTOR With the tester in Ohmmeter mode, connect the probes to the gear motor connector between Pins C and D    See N051 RIGHT FRONT DOOR LOCK GEARED MOTOR Check that with the door closed the circuit is open and with the door open it is closedReplace the door switch    Op. 7005N20 FRONT SIDE DOOR LOCK MOTOR/CATCH ASSEMBLY, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R WITH DOOR PANEL AND SUPPORT FRAME REMOVED
3Disconnect the wiring connector from the left rear door lock gear motor    See N055 LEFT REAR DOOR LOCK GEARED MOTOR With the tester in Ohmmeter mode, connect the probes to the gear motor connector between Pins B and C    See N055 LEFT REAR DOOR LOCK GEARED MOTOR Check that with the door closed the circuit is open and with the door open it is closedReplace the door switch    Op. 7010N20 REAR SIDE DOOR LOCK MOTOR/CATCH ASSEMBLY - R.R. WITH DOOR PANEL AND SUPPORT FRAME REMOVED
4Disconnect the wiring connector from the right rear door lock gear motor    See N056 RIGHT REAR DOOR LOCK GEARED MOTOR With the tester in Ohmmeter mode, connect the probes to the gear motor connector between Pins C and D    See N056 RIGHT REAR DOOR LOCK GEARED MOTOR Check that with the door closed the circuit is open and with the door open it is closedReplace the door switch    Op. 7010N20 REAR SIDE DOOR LOCK MOTOR/CATCH ASSEMBLY - R.R. WITH DOOR PANEL AND SUPPORT FRAME REMOVED
5Disconnect the wiring connector from the boot opening switchSee I011 BOOT RELEASE SWITCHWith the tester in Ohmmeter mode, connect the probes to the switch connector between Pins 1 and 2.Check that with the tailgate closed the circuit is open and with the tailgate open it is closedRepeat the test by connecting between Pins 2 and 3, with the same resultReplace the boot switch    Op. 7025B38 BOOT LID LOCK - R+R
6Disconnect the wiring connector from the bonnect opening switch    See I010 BONNET RELEASE SWITCHWith the tester in Ohmmeter mode, connect the probes to the switch connector between Pins 1 and 2.    See I010 BONNET RELEASE SWITCHCheck that with the bonnet closed the circuit is open and with the bonnet open it is closedReplace the bonnet switch
7Check that the door, bonnet and boot microswitches are correcly earthed.    See E7015 ALARMRestore earth connections
