) - Open the bonnet.1. Disconnect the negative terminal (1a) from the battery after having loosened it by rotating the cam lever (1b).

1. Release the retainers (1a) and remove the cover (1b) for the supply box.

1. Undo the bolts.2. Remove the retaining bracket.3. Loosen the nut for the positive battery terminal.4. Move the supply box to the side.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and move the battery retaining belt (1b).2. Remove the battery.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the battery is not damaged.- Place the battery in its housing.- Position the retaining belt on the battery and tighten the nut.

1. Position the supply box.2. Fasten the positive battery terminal using the nut.

3. Place the retaining bracket (3a) in position and tighten the bolts (3b).

- Place the supply box cover in position and attach the retainers.- Place the negative battery terminal in position, then secure it using the cam lever.- Close the bonnet.- Test the operation of the electrical system.
