939011806 - E6020 AIR CONDITIONER - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION (Manual Air Conditioning)
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The climate control system control unit M70 receives a direct supply at pin 2 from the line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.Pin 1 of M70 is earthed. The control unit M70 is connected, via the CAN line, from pins 12 and 13 to the Body Computer M1 and to the other nodes. See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES The recirculation actuator N82 is operated by the control unit M70 from pins 14, 15, 16 and 17.The mixture actuator N81 is operated by the control unit M70 from pins 24, 25, 26 and 27.The distribution actuator N80 is operated by the control unit M70 from pins 19, 20, 21 and 22.The fan N85 receives a power supply from the specific fuse F2 in the engine compartment junction unit B1 and receives an (earth) at the different speeds via the governor O30: the command signal varies according to the position of the control knob H81 and the governor O30 resistances determine four different voltage signals for the fan N85 which turns at 4 different speeds. The control knob H81 is operated by the control unit M70 - pin 10 - via relay J35.Pin 11 of M70 controls the engagement of the compressor. See E6021 COMPRESSOR ENGAGEMENT - DESCRIPTIONPins 9 and 8 regulate the additional heater resistances. See E6015 ADDITIONAL HEATER
