Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Undo the bolts.2. Remove the lower steering column trim. 1. Undo the bolts.2. Move the upper steering column trim.3. Separate the rigid section (3a) of the trim from the flexible section (3b) releasing the retainers (3c).- If necessary, remove the flexible part of the trim.    Op. 7040A36 STEERING COLUMN FLEXIBLE TRIM - R.R. Refitting ( Removing )     Op. 7040A36 STEERING COLUMN FLEXIBLE TRIM - R.R. - Check that the steering column trim is not damaged.- Connect the rigid section of the upper trim to the flexible section, attaching the retainers.- Position the upper trim and tighten the bolts.- Position the lower trim and tighten the bolts.
