) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Proceed with removal - 4450B04 right front wheel r r . Proceed with removal - 7055B66 Engine compartment DUST SHIELD protection in right front wheel arch - R.R. . Proceed with removal - 7055B91 Right front WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R. . Proceed with removal - 1092B40 air conditioner compressor/alternator drive belt - r + r . Proceed with the removal. Proceed with removal - 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace . Proceed with removal - 1056B60 single fuel manifold pipe, with injectors - r + r . Proceed with removal - 1032B10 toothed timing belt - r + r for timing adjustment or replacement .

Once the toothed timing drive belt has been removed/refitted, when removing the front crankshaft oil seal cover, no not support the power unit as described in the toothed timing belt removal/refitting procedure but as follows:

Proceed with removal - 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER . 1. Fit the tool (1a), complete with support mountings (1b).

2. Fit the tools (2a) and (2b), then connect them to the engine using link (2c).

Refit the power unit timing side rigid mount temorarily and secure with bolts.Refit the power unit timing side flexible mounting block and secure with nuts. Proceed with removal - 1088C14 water pump - r + r with drive belt removed . Proceed with removal - 1032B44 toothed drive pulley - r + r with timing belt removed . Proceed with removal - 1072C44 exhaust manifold heat shield on bulkhead - r+r . Proceed with removal - 1072C16 exhaust manifold with catalytic converter - r r . Proceed with removal - 1020A20 crank case oil sump - r + r clean seals for sealant application . Proceed with removal - 1084B28 engine oil intake pump - r + r with crankcase sump removed . 1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the rpm sensor.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

3. Undo the bolt and remove the rpm sensor.

1. Undo botls (1a) and remove crankshaft oil seal cover.

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Fit the crankshaft front cover (1a), complete with gasket, and fix it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

Replace the rear wheel rpm sensor in its housing and fix it using the bolt.Connect the electrical connection to the engine oil pressure warning light switch.Connect the electrical connection for the rpm sensor. Proceed with refitting - 1084B28 engine oil intake pump - r + r with crankcase sump removed . Proceed with refitting - 1020A20 crank case oil sump - r + r clean seals for sealant application . Proceed with refitting - 1072C16 exhaust manifold with catalytic converter - r r . Proceed with refitting - 1072C44 exhaust manifold heat shield on bulkhead - r+r . Proceed with refitting - 1032B44 toothed drive pulley - r + r with timing belt removed . Proceed with refitting - 1088C14 water pump - r + r with drive belt removed . Undo the nuts, then remove the timing side power unit support flexible mounting .Undo the bolt and remove the power unit timing side rigid engine mount. Proceed with refitting - 1032B10 toothed timing belt - r + r for timing adjustment or replacement . Proceed with refitting - 1056B60 single fuel manifold pipe, with injectors - r + r . Proceed with refitting - 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace . Proceed with the refitting. Proceed with refitting - 1092B40 air conditioner compressor/alternator drive belt - r + r . Proceed with refitting - 7055B91 Right front WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R. . Proceed with refitting - 7055B66 Engine compartment DUST SHIELD protection in right front wheel arch - R.R. . Proceed with refitting - 4450B04 right front wheel r r . Refill the engine oil lubrication system - 0010T11 engine oil check level and top up . Refill the engine cooling system with coolant - 0010T20 coolant change . Remove the car from the ramps.
