3308677 - L11 CLIMATE CONTROL WORKING IRREGULARLY

The fan works properly and sends air into the interior compartment in accordance with the set flows, but this air sometimes reduces the temperature too much and sometimes too little
remember that the climate control system should be checked about once a year. Ascertain whether it has been checked recently. If it has not, recharge the system:  Op. 5040A10
Results of the tests
1SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKAll OKProblems metOperation
Check that the system cooling is correct: See Test   5040A  Checking operation of air conditioner (temperature) Continue to Step 2 The temperature decreases very slowly: insufficient fluid: Recharge the system: Op.   5040A10
2CHECKING WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTAll OKProblems metOperation
Connect diagnostic equipment (Examiner or other instruments) to the diagnostic socket. Check that there are no faults in the climate control control unit Continue to Step 3 An error is detected in the control unit Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
Lack of dialogue with the control unit Restore connection between climate control control unit and diagnostic connector ( See   E6020  AIR CONDITIONING )
Specific software not available Continue to Step 3
3CHECKING SYSTEM PRESSUREAll OKProblems metOperation
After recharging the system ( Op.   5040A10  ), check the system pressures: See Test   5040B  Check on operation of air conditioning system (pressures) Continue to Step 4 High pressure does not increase or low pressure decreases too much: leaks in the circuit Locate the leaks Op.   5040A14
High pressure correct, low pressure very high Replace the expansion valve Op.   5040B30
High pressure high, low pressure below normal Clean or replace the drier filter Op.   5040A44
Irregular pressures: pipes or evaporator blocked Wash the system: Op.   5040A10  If the fault persists, replace the evaporator: Op. 5040C60
4CONDENSER CHECKAll OKProblems metOperation
Visually inspect the condition of the condenser: the heat exchange surface should not be dirty or fouled Continue to Step 5 Condenser dirty Clean the condenser if necessary, replace it: Op.   5040A40
5HECK ON CORRECT OPERATIONAll OKProblems metOperation
