Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Proceed with removal - 4450B04 right front wheel r r . Proceed with removal  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with removal - 7055B91 Right front WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R. . Proceed with removal - 7055B66 Engine compartment DUST SHIELD protection in right front wheel arch - R.R. . Proceed with removal  - 1092G10  single engine belt r r . Proceed with removal  - 1092A10  Crankshaft services PULLEY - R.R. . Proceed with removal  - 1092G21  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - r rwith belt removed . Proceed with removal  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with removal  - 1008C10  power unit upper reaction link r r . Proceed with removal  - 1032D12  timing system protective cover(s) - r + r . Proceed with removal  - 1032B10  toothed timing belt - r + r for timing adjustment or replacement . Proceed with removal  - 1060E30  pressure pump pulley - r r . Proceed with removal  - 1060E10  pressure pump - r r . 1. Disconnect the vacuum pipes from the brake servo vacuum pipe, pneumatic valve on the throttle body and rigid section connected to the variable geometry solenoid. 2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the solenoid on the vacuum reservoir.

Release the vacuum pipes from the fastening bands.3. Undo the nuts (3a) and remove the vacuum reservoir (3b) from the mounting bracket.
1. Undo the bolts securing the engine oil vapour separator mounting bracket.
1. Loosen the band and disconnect the pipe from engine oil vapour separator to filler, separator side.2. Loosen the band and disconnect the pipe from the engine oil vapour separator to the filler, filler side.3. Remove the engine oil vapour separator pipe to the filler (3a) after releasing it from the band (3b).
1. Disconnect the electrical connection (1a) from the diesel electronic injection and release the electrical wiring from the band (1b).

2. Undo the nut fixing the heater plugs control unit.
1. Rotate the heater plug control unit as much as necessary to disconnect the electrical connection.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the EGR solenoid.

2. Tighten the bolts securing the E.G.R. solenoid to the E.G.R. water/exhaust gas heat exchanger.3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the E.G.R. solenoid (3b).Remove the gasket.
1. Disconnect the hose from the rigid vacuum pipe leading to the turbocharger vane actuator solenoid. 2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the rigid vacuum pipe leading to the turbocharger vane actuator solenoid (2b).
1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the excess pressure sensor.

1. Loosen the bands and disconnect the flexible coolant return pipes from the rigid coolant return pipe to the engine coolant reservoir. 2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove rigid return pipe (2b) carrying coolant to the coolant supply reservoir (2b)..
Proceed with removal  - 1084A16  oil dip stick pipe - r r . 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the power steering pump drive pulley (1b).
1. Undo the bolts fixing the power assisted steering pump and move it back as far as necessary.
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the power steering pump guard (1b).
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the bracket (1b).
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the pressure pump mounting (1b).
1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the inlet manifold (1b).Remove the gasket.
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Replace intake manifold (1a), complete with gasket and fix it tightening the nuts (1b) to the recommended torque.

1. Place the pressure pump mounting (1a) back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

Place the bracket back in its housing and secure it using the bolts. Place the power assisted steering pump pulley protection back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.1. Place the power assisted steering pump back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

1. Place the power assisted steering pump pulley (1a) back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

Proceed with refitting  - 1084A16  oil dip stick pipe - r r . Place the coolant return pipe to the engine cooling system reservoir back in its housing and tighten the bolts. Connect the flexible pipe to the coolant return pipe to the engine coolant reservoir and tighten the band. Connect the electrical connection to the excess pressure sensor. Fit the rigid pipe leading to the turbocharger vane actuator solenoid back in its housing and secure with the nuts. Connect the hoses to the rigid vacuum pipe leading to the turbocharger vane actuator solenoid. Refit in its seating the E.G.R. solenoid complete with gasket and secure it with the bolts.Tighten the bolts securing the E.G.R. solenoid to the E.G.R. water/exhaust gas heat exchanger.Connect the electrical connection to the EGR solenoid.Connect the electrical connections to the heater plug control unit, then refit the unit in its seating and tighten the nut.Connect the electrical connection to the diesel electronic injection control unit and secure the electrical wiring with the band.Refit in its seating the pipe from the engine oil vapour separator to the filler, and secure it with the band.Connect the pipe from the engine oil vapour separator to the filler, filler side, and tighten the band.Connect the pipe from the engine oil vapour separator to the filler, separator side, and tighten the band.Tighten the bolts securing the engine oil vapour separator mounting bracket.Refit the vacuum reservoir in its seating and secure it to the mounting bracket using the nuts.Secure the vacuum pipes with the retaining bands. Connect the electrical connection to the solenoid on the vacuum tank.Connect the vacuum pipe to the brake servo vacuum pipe, to the pneumatic valve on the throttle body and rigid section connected to the variable geometry solenoid. Proceed with refitting  - 1060E10  pressure pump - r r . Proceed with refitting  - 1060E30  pressure pump pulley - r r . Proceed with refitting  - 1032B10  toothed timing belt - r + r for timing adjustment or replacement . Proceed with refitting  - 1032D12  timing system protective cover(s) - r + r . Proceed with refitting  - 1008C10  power unit upper reaction link r r . Proceed with refitting  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with refitting  - 1092G21  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - r rwith belt removed . Proceed with refitting  - 1092A10  Crankshaft services PULLEY - R.R. . Proceed with refitting  - 1092G10  single engine belt r r . Proceed with refitting - 7055B66 Engine compartment DUST SHIELD protection in right front wheel arch - R.R. . Proceed with refitting - 7055B91 Right front WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R. . Proceed with refitting  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with refitting - 4450B04 right front wheel r r .
