198001753 - I006 MAIN BEAM HEADLAMPS NOT WORKING

Both the main beam headlamps are not working under any circumstances (both manually and in flasher mode).
The main beam headlamps are controlled by the Steering Wheel Controls Node managed by the Body Computer Node and activated by the engine compartment junction unit.
TEST RESULTS
0PRELIMINARY CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Activate the appropriate command and check whether the warning light on the dashboard comes on.Move on to Step 3The warning light is not activated.Move on to Step 1
1BATTERY VOLTAGE CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check correct battery voltageMove on to Step 2Battery voltage incorrect.Restore the correct voltage.
2CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment and check whether the following parameters are present and that there are no errors in the Body Computer modeMove on to Step 41. Impossible to connect to the control unit.2. Presence of errors1. Replace Body Computer    Op. 5505A35 MAIN BODY COMPUTER/JUNCTION UNIT - R.R.2. Move on to Step 3
3ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
With the Examiner in the Body Computer mode check that the function in question is correctly activated in Active Diagnosis.- Left/right main beam headlamps controlMove on to Step 51. One of the main beams is not activated as the bulb is defective2. Both of the bulbs are not activated due to defective wiring between the engine compartment junction unit and the bulbs3. The lights are not activated by the steering column switch unit1.Replace the bulb2.Restore the correct wiring3.Move on to Step 4
4CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Using the Examiner check the variation in the status of the parameters by activating the appropriate controls in the Steering Wheel Controls Node ambient. The parameters involved are:- Dipped/main beam headlamps control- Check that the steering column switch unit lights are working properlyMove on to Step 51. Impossible to connect to the control unit.2. No variation in the state of the parameters under consideration is detected1. Replace the Steering Wheel Controls Node control unit.2. Replace the steering column switch unit    Op. 5550A10 STALK UNIT ASSEMBLY - R+R
5CONTROL UNIT ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check:- Condition of fuses- Wiring between steering column switch unit and Body Computer    See E2012 MAIN BEAM HEADLAMPS Move on to Step 61.Protective fuse/s blown2.Wiring defective1. Replace the component involved (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow).2. Restore the correct wiring.
6CONTROL UNIT ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check the Engine Compartment junction unit electrical circuit in the following order:- Wiring between the Body Computer and the Engine Compartment Junction Unit Node    See E2012 MAIN BEAM HEADLAMPS End of diagnosis.1. Engine compartment junction unit faulty.2. Protective fuse/s blown.3. Wiring defective.4. Control unit earth faulty1. Replace the engine compartment junction unit2. Replace the component involved (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow).3. Restore wiring4. Restore the correct operation of the control unit earth.
