198001861 - K123 WATER IN DIESEL FILTER WARNING LIGHT ON CONSTANTLY

The Engine Management Node sends a message via the C-CAN to the Body Computer, which makes it available via the B-CAN, to the Instrument Panel node.
Faults in the C-CAN will turn on the warning lights for the control units that communicate on this network. Verification of the CAN Information is intended to detect this situation
TEST RESULTS
1CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Connect the diagnostic equipment and check at the Engine Management Node for the absence of:- System/component faults- Faults in the CAN network/sMove on to Step 21.Fault in CAN2.Presence of errors1.Continue as instructed by the diagnostic equipment2.Continue as instructed by the diagnostic equipment
2CHECK ON SENSOR FOR PRESENCE OF WATER IN DIESEL FILTERALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check for presence of water in diesel filterCheck that the sensor supply is correctCheck the operation of the sensorMove on to Step 21. Water in the filter2. Supply not correct3. Sensor defective1. Replace the filter and refill with diesel that conforms to the specifications2. Restore correct power supply3. Replace the filter mounting and sensor
3CHECKS USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Move on to Step 52. Move on to Step 73.Move on to Step 114.Continue as instructed by the diagnostic equipment
4CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Use an Examiner to assess the possibility of connection to the Body Computer Node, to check that there are no errors and to check the presence of parameters.Move on to Step 31. Impossible to connect to the Body Computer control unit2. Presence of errors1. Move on to Step 42. Continue as described by the diagnostic equipment
5ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check that the power supply to the Body Computer Node and the wiring between the nodes are correct . Check in particular that each individual pin is correctly connectedMove on to Step 41. Fault in positive electrical supply and/or earth2. Electrical connections not operational1. Replace defective component (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow)2. Restore the damaged wiring to correct operation
