Open the retaining band (1a) and disconnect the engine oil vapour recovery pipe (1b), tappet cover side.2. Disconnect the electrical connection(2a) for the phase transformer solenoid (2b).

Op. 1032D26 TIMING SYSTEM FRONT PROTECTIVE COVER (UPPER PART) - R.R. Op. 5510C10 IGNITION COIL/S - R+R 1. Undo the bolt fixing the injection control unit cable loom mounting bracket.

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the tappet cover (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Fit the tappet cover in position.- Screw in the bolts fixing the tappet cover without tightening them.2. Position the special tool for centering the tappet cover on the cylinder head.

3. Tighten the tappet cover bolts to the recommended torque.

- Tighten the bolt fixing the injection control unit cable loom mounting bracket. Op. 5510C10 IGNITION COIL/S - R+R Op. 1032D26 TIMING SYSTEM FRONT PROTECTIVE COVER (UPPER PART) - R.R. 1. Connect the engine oil vapour recovery pipe (1a), tappet cover side and secure it using the retaining band (1b).2. Connect the electrical connection for the phase transformer solenoid.
