Removing ( Refitting )

Follow the recommended safety instructions (see 5040 - Precautions).

- Drain the coolant    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE     Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.     Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER 1. Undo the drier filter retaining bolt2. Open the retaining band.3. Remove the drier filter (3a), releasing the connectors (3b).

Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the drier filter is not damaged.

Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant. Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.

- Place the drier filter in position and attach the connectors.- Close the retaining band.- Tighten the drier filter retaining bolt    Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER     Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Repressurize the coolant    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE
